A great collection of all things spooky and a great companion for cozy autumnal nights!

   I’m not usually a fan of short stories, but the collection here peaked my interest so I thought I’d take a look, and I’m really glad that I did.

   Whilst some stories are better written than others, and some might give you a sense of Deja Vu? They’re a great and varied collection of gruesome tales, that keep you wanting for more.

   My favourites of the collection are; Horrors of Howlett, by A.D.Graves and the detail and writing style of Gerri R Gray’s  - Marcy’s Diary - Is most definitely worth a read. Will be a great book to go back to, especially when I need a little something ghoulish! 

Hermit of Paradise is a story about a retired detective, Auby Midnight. The story delves into his past and then tries to right the wrongs that occurred back then.

Good characters, well described and well thought out. The attention to detail is great, which truly brings the story to life.

The story has been inspired by the author’s own life experience whilst working for the DPD and also as a Texan. I did expect a little more into the policing angle, but that said, the story works very well.

Well written and thought out, great attention to detail, great characters and storyline. Plenty of plot twists and surprises.

A storyline that grabs you and book that will stay with you forever.
